Police are investigating what appears to be gunfire early this morning.

Police say just after midnight they were called to Rae Street, west of Albert, after someone reported hearing up to six gunshots.

The Communications Centre also recieved a call from someone in that area reporting gunfire.

Police spoke with a number of people in the neighbourhood, but didn’t find any suspects, damage, or injuries.
