Pair of Pats make NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

 

Two Regina Pats have cracked the NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings for the 2022 NHL Draft.

Matthew Kieper and Layton Feist both made the list.

Kieper is ranked 25th among North American goalies and eighth among Western Hockey League goaltenders.  This past season, the Pats netminder completed his rookie season with a 16-14-1-0 record, 3.68 goals-against average, and a .876 save percentage and one shutout. The Winnipeg product also took claimed the Hub Bishop Most Sportsmanlike Player Award for the Pats.

Feist is ranked 212th among North American skaters. The 2021-22 season was Feist’s sophomore season with Regina, the forward picked up 28 points over 64 games. The Dawson Creek native was the first round pick for the Pats back in 2019.

Regina Pats European prospects Joakim Kemell and Alexander Suzdalev were also named to the International skaters final rankings.

53 players from the Western Hockey League were listed in the NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings.
