Mosaic Stadium will be hosting all types of football this year.

The REAL District announced a friendly soccer match between the U23 Teams of Sunderland AFC and Toronto FC on August 3.

The Canadian and English football clubs are a part of the second match Mosaic Stadium has hosted at Mosaic Stadium. The first was back in 2017 when the New York Cosmos beat Valencia CFL 2-0.

“The last friendly match we held here was incredible,” said Tim Reid, President and CEO of REAL. “Soccer is a global sport that transcends borders and unites so much of our world. The opportunity to see this happen again in our community may just be what we all need at this time.”

The match will kick off at 6:30, with tickets going on sale on June 3 and ranging from $18-$65.
