P.A. police investigating two weekend murders

Prince Albert Police are investigating a homicide in that city that took place early Saturday morning.

Just after 5:30 Saturday morning, Prince Albert Police responded to the 800 block of 11th Avenue East for a report that a man had been shot.

Once officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old man suffering from serious injuries in the 1000 block of 8th Street East. The victim was then transported to Prince Albert’s Victoria Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The shooting victim’s name has not been released.

Police are asking residents to check their surveillance cameras to see if any suspicious activity took place between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. Saturday morning.

And a second homicide this weekend in Prince Albert.
Police responded to a weapons complaint at River Street West and 1st avenue at about 11:30 p.m.
When they arrived they found a 47-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
No arrests have been made and the man’s name has not been released.Anyone with information is asked to contact the P.A. Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
