Red Sox crush Beavers to improve to 3-1

The Regina Red Sox were able to post three touchdowns on the scoreboard last night as they defeated the Weyburn Beavers 21-0

The majority of the runs came in the third inning when the Red Sox offence racked up 14 runs to grab a comfortable 18-0 lead.

It was another big night at the plate for DH Cade Nelson, he went 3 for 4  with four runs scored, and two RBIs.

Left fielder Michael Zinter was 2 for 5 with a pair of RBIs.

Right Fielder Kendall Keller was 2 for 3 with two RBIs.

Preston Tenney picked up the win, he pitched six innings, allowed one hit and recorded nine strikeouts.

After picking up three straight wins on home turf, the Red Sox will head back on the road to Swift Current where they will face the 57’s tonight. Opening pitch is set for 7:05.
