Saskatchewan feeder cattle prices were mixed during the past week.

The latest report from provincial cattle specialist Fonda Froats says the largest gain was in feeder steers in the 600 to 700 pound weight category, which increased 2 dollars 58 cents per hundredweight to average 223 dollars 75 cents for the week.

The report says the largest gain for feeder heifers was 3 dollars 17 cents for the 500 to 600 pound category, averaging 201 dollars 17 cents.

The largest drop was in the 700 to 800 pound feeder heifer weight category, down 3 dollars 30 cents to average 178 dollars 83 cents.
