Pats Trade Carrier for Pick

The Regina Pats have sent 2002 born forward Cole Carrier to the Lethbridge Hurricanes, in exchange the Pats will get a sixth round pick in next year’s draft.

Carrier appeared in 65 games with the Pats this past season, scoring a career-high 15 goals along with 12 assists for 27 points. The 5-foot-11, 178 lb. forward registered 35 points (19G-16A) in 101 games over parts of three seasons with the Pats, spanning from 2020-22.

“[Carrier] was a solid player in many areas during his time with the Pats,” Regina Pats Head Coach and GM John Paddock said. “We would like to thank him for his contributions to the organization and wish him well in the future.”

The Regina Pats will be hosting their 2022 Spring Camp from June 10-12 at the Co-Operators Centre, with on-ice sessions taking place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday.
