Police confirm identity of homicide victim as missing person

The Regina Police Service has confirmed the identity of the City’s fifth homicide victim of the year.

63-year-old Anne Marie Zaremba, originally reported missing on June 13, was reported as the victim of last week’s homicide.

Police report that her body was found inside a building in the 1300 block of Oxford Bay on June 17.

Zaremba’s name was originally not released due to the family not wanting her name released.

A 75-year-old male has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
