White Butte police have charged a man in relation to an assault involved a guard and an inmate at the Regina Correctional Centre.
Janith Rajamanthri of Winnipeg, 29, has been charged with an assault that happened Feb. 25, 2022. The centre is in the jurisdiction of the White Butte RCMP. The investigation and consultation involved provincial crown prosecution.
Rajamanthri will appear in Regina provincial court July 27th.
