Red Sox blanked by Beavers in Weyburn

The Regina Red Sox dropped their second in a row last night, losing 7-0 to the Weyburn Beavers in Weyburn in Western Canadian Baseball League action.
Weyburn’s Josh Wintroub threw a complete game three hit shutout. Catcher Chase Taylor got two of the three hits in the Red Sox, including a double for Regina’s only extra base hit of the game.
The Red Sox, now 10-13 on the season, will have the day off before heading to Moose Jaw Sunday afternoon to face the Miller Express.
