One person died after being unloaded from a City of Moose Jaw Paratransit Bus on Monday.

The Moose Jaw Police Service and EMS were dispatched to the F. H. Wigmore Regional Hospital parking lot for an injured person.

An investigation determined that the person was injured while being unloaded from a City of Moose Jaw Paratransit bus and later succumbed to their injuries.

“The Moose Jaw Police Service is assisting the Coroner’s Office and will provide assistance in determining the nature of this incident,” the service said in a news release.
