Provincial parks plan activities for Canada Day

Provincial parks are going to be the place to be on Canada Day.

The province announced that each participating park will have crafts like floatie races, cake and cupcakes, trivia games and park ventures with clues and directions.

Many parks are participating, including Buffalo Pound, Rowan’s Ravine, Cypress Hills, Candle Lake, Moose Mountain, Duck Mountain, Echo Valley, Good Spirit Lake and others.

Some may have additional activities and pre-registration is recommended.

With the cost of gas, Saskatchewan’s provincial parks might be the getaway you need this Canada Day.

Activities are planned for most provincial parks for Canada Day from 1:30 to 8 p.m. with activities that include fun events like crafts for kids, floatie races and trivia games.

To pre-register for the events, go to parks.saskatchewan.ca and search for events by park
