SaskWater has 8 million dollars in income

SaskWater is reporting a successful year, with income of 8 million dollars and record-high customer satisfaction.

SaskWater will contribute dividends to the province of 6.49 million dollars.

SaskWater minister Don Morgan says the crown corporation saw important infrastructure initiatives.

Work has started to support major industrial projects announced in the Regina area.

Preliminary work is underway to expand SaskWater’s near infrastructure into a regional non-potable water supply system.

This project will grow and diversify SaskWater’s industrial customer base and provide reliable water supply for further industrial development.

Other works involve supplying customers east of Saskatoon and in other areas of the province.

SaskWater owns nine water treatment plants, three wastewater facilities, 137 kilometers of canal and 941 kilometers of pipeline.
