Pats release full 2022-23 schedule

The Regina Pats schedule for the 2022-23 season has been revealed.

Opening night will be held at the Brandt Centre on Friday, September 23 when Regina host the Warriors. The following evening, the Pats will travel to Moose Jaw to complete the home and home set on the opening weekend.

Regina will be meeting the Warriors eight times this season. The other Saskatchewan based WHL teams, the Saskatoon Blades, the Prince Albert Raiders and the Swift Current Broncos will square off with the Pats six times. The Winnipeg Ice and the Brandon Wheat Kings will also face Regina six times.

Thirteen home games for the Pats will be taking place on Saturdays, there will be seven home games on Sundays and another seven home games happening on Wednesdays. There will be two Sunday afternoon games with 4:00 faceoffs and a special 2:00 faceoff on Family Day.

The Pats will be taking an extended road trip from November 13 until December 9. Regina will be visiting the B.C. Division for the first time since 2018-19 during that time. The American based WHL teams will make their first visit to the Brandt Centre since the 2018-19 campaign.

A couple of promotional nights announced by the Pats include a Canadian Armed Forces Night on November 9 against Edmonton. The Teddy Bear Toss game will go Saturday December 10 against the Calgary Hitmen. A full promotional schedule will be released.
