Sask. Junior Golf Championships decided in Regina

The three day Saskatchewan Junior Golf Championships wrapped up on Thursday at the Royal Regina Golf Club.

In the Junior Men’s U19 category, Chase Pochylko of Saskatoon claimed the title after shooting a final round 67 for a three day total of 206. Tommy Danielson also of Saskatoon had the lead heading into the final round but fell to second after he shot 70 on Thursday to finish two strokes back. Regina’s Luke Cote finished third after he finished with a 72 for a three day total of 213 which was seven off the pace.

Ella Kozak of Yorkton claimed the Junior Women’s U19 and U17 titles on Thursday. Kozak cruised to the U19 championship with a three day total of 227 which was 18 shots ahead of the field. Brooklin Fry finished second with a three day total of 245, while Regina’s Hallie Crozier finished with a three day total of 256.
