One person has been confirmed dead after a shooting this morning in Langham.

The suspect, Justin Heimbecker, has been located according to the RCMP.

A man was located by RCMP police officers deceased inside a residence in Langham around 11:40 a.m. The residence was on fire earlier in the day and it’s believed the deceased person is Justin Heimbecker, but this cannot be confirmed at this time.

RCMP says the investigation is ongoing and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
