Fatal collision on Highway #6 leaves one dead

The collision that closed Highway #6 on Wednesday resulted in the death of a Regina man.

Around 4:15 p.m., Southey RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway #6, 13 kilometres north of Regina. A van travelling southbound and semi-unit hauling farm implements travelling northbound collided.

The driver of the van, a 34-year-old man from Regina, died at the scene, with the driver of the semi not reporting any injuries to police.

Southey RCMP continues to investigate with the assistance of an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist.
