Candlelight Vigil for Missing FSIN CEO and her Son

There is still no sign of FSIN CEO Dawn Walker, or her seven year old son Vincent Jansen.

She was last seen on Friday, July 22nd in Saskatoon.

Over the weekend, her pick up was found along the south Saskatchewan river, south of Saskatoon. Inside were some personal belongings. Police say someone in the park found Walker’s purse, and turned it in.

Walker may have been on the way to Edmonton to see Pope Francis give his apology, however her suitcase, and her son’s iPad were still in her home.

The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations have been pushing police to issue an “Amber Alert” to assist in finding Walker.

The RCMP say they are still investigating.

Tonight at 8:30, there will be a candlelight vigil for Walker, and her son at Chief Whitecap Park, south of Saskatoon.
