Government Increases “SIP”

Its a little help  for seniors, who are struggling with rising inflation.

The Saskatchewan Government is increasing the maximum benefit under the Seniors Income Plan, also known as “SIP”

The maximum will increase by 30 dollars to 330 per month.

“Our government is following through on our commitment to make life more affordable for Saskatchewan seniors,” Social Services Minister Gene Makowsky said in a news release. “This investment in the Seniors Income Plan will help seniors across the province participate in their communities while living more comfortably and securely.”

This is the second year in a row, the government has added an increase to “SIP”
