Queen City Ex Promises Thrills, Food, and FUN

It’s Full Tilt – a whirl at the REAL District as today marks the opening of the Queen City Exhibition.

The Annual fair’s 138 year history has seen many versions over the years – originally being held across two October days in Regina’s Victoria Park.

While the midway has evolved over the course of more than a century – the goal remains the same. Entertainment for all ages, and a chance to experience a break from the summer doldrums.

This year’s version promises to “turn up the fun” with outdoor grandstand shows spanning genres, to incredible midway food, and of course the thrill rides.

Always a highlight – this year’s grandstand performances will not disappoint.

Tonight Classic Rockers The Headpins and Streetheart takeover the Original 16 stage.

Regina product and viral colab kid Tesher alongside pop superstar Jason Derulo will be performing August 4th.

Country music will be in full force on August 5th with CKRM’s Presentation of Kendra Kay and Tim Hicks, and Tebey and Tenille Arts on the 6th.

To close 5 days of incredible shows it’s Starwars and fireworks with the Regina Symphony Orchestra on Sunday night.

Daily thrill shows on outdoor stages, and a special appearance by championship eater Joey Chestnut are also on deck for the fair.

Saskatchewan’s fair runs until the 7th of August.
