DQ Miracle Treat Day Ready to Give to Pattison Children’s Hospital

The province’s sickest kids understand more than most – the importance of a miracle.

Tomorrow is Miracle Treat day at Dairy Queen restaurants across the province. A day where the proceeds form the purchase of a Blizzard ice cream treat will be donated to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.

The Hospital is one of 12 Miracle network hospitals across the country. Here in Saskatchewan all proceeds raised stay right here in the province.

Derrick Picton is the owner of 5 Regina Dairy Queen Restaurants and says the day is a huge for the province.

“Helping sick kids get better in our province is so important. We really can’t do enough to help them.”

When you get your blizzard – Picton encourages everyone to take a selfie of you enjoying your Blizzard and share it with #miracletreatday on social media to spread awareness and help them to raise as much money for the Children’s Hospital as possible.

Picton said bulk orders from offices and organizations are coming in and still available to support the cause.

If you’d like to put in a bulk order of blizzards for your staff – please contact your local Dairy Queen.
