Season Over for Regina Red Sox

It was a heck of a ride.  Although a very short one.

The Regina Red Sox 2022 season came to end in Medicine Hat with the 3-2 loss to the Mavericks.  That completes a two game sweep of the series, eliminating the Red Sox from the playoffs.

The Red Sox were able to keep it close thanks to six strong innings from reliever Braden Houston.  Regina opened the scoring in the first, and and added another single run in the eighth inning, but they couldn’t break through an tie it up.  The Red Sox Managed 10 hits, but also committed four errors.

The Red Sox finished first in their division after a six game winning streak to wrap up the regular season.

The Management of the Western Canadian Baseball League Franchise want to thank all of the fans and volunteers and billets for all their support and help this season.
