The Regina Thunder improved their record to 2-0 with a 24-22 win over the Winnipeg Rifles on Sunday.

The two teams exchanged the lead throughout the game with the Thunder taking the lead for good with a field goal with just over five minutes remaining in the game.

The Thunder will play in their first road game of the season next Sunday when they meet the Edmonton Huskies with a 1:00 kickoff in Edmonton.
