Police locate vehicle associated with stabbing rampage

Saskatchewan RCMP has reported that the vehicle Myles Sanderson was thought to be traveling in during the stabbings on September 4th and in the days after has been found.

The black Nissan Rogue with the license plate 119 MPI was found east of Crystal Springs thanks to a report from a member of the public.

Commissioner Rhonda Blackwood took to YouTube to give an update on the investigation. Watch below:

In a media release sent out from the Saskatchewan RCMP, it quotes, “We know there remains a lot of interest relating to the ongoing investigation on James Smith Cree Nation and in Weldon. At this time, the Saskatchewan RCMP does not have a press conference or media event scheduled for any updates today, nor through the weekend. We remain committed to providing information to you and the public as it becomes available.”
