For the third time since 1999, the University of Regina Rams have begun their season with wins in their first two games after the defeated the University of Calgary Dinos 32-24 on Friday night.
Jaxon Ford’s late interception in the final sealed the win for the Rams who held off a late charge from the Dinos.
Kyle Borsa had a rushing touchdown in the victory.
Defensive End Anthony Bennett was able to help out the offence with a interception returned for a touchdown.

Rams QB Noah Pelletier connected with D’Sean Mimbs for a 64 yard touchdown pass.

Pelletier ended his evening with 217 yards passing and a touchdown while Mimbs had 123 yards receiving for the Rams.
Along with his interception for a touchdown, Bennett picked up his fourth sack of the season along with a fumble recovery.
The Rams will meet their provincial rivals, the University of Saskatchewan next Saturday, as apart of Football Weekend in Saskatchewan.
