The Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will meet for the second time in less than a week on Saturday as the two teams square off in the annual Labour Day rematch in Winnipeg.
The Bombers clinched a playoff spot last Sunday in the Labour Day Classic, on the strength of a late 55 yard field goal by Marc Liegghio. With the BC Lions losing on Friday night, the Bombers currently hold a six point advantage for top spot in the CFL’s Western Division.
Saskatchewan enters today’s contest at 6-6 following the loss to Winnipeg. The Riders enter today’s contest in fourth spot, two points back of the Calgary Stampeders for third spot.

Changes continue for the offensive line for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Terran Vaughn will miss another week, meaning Andrew Lauderdale will get the start at left tackle.
At right tackle, Kooper Richardson will get his first start today and will have the tough task of lining up against the Bombers pass rushing duo of Willie Jefferson and Jackson Jeffcoat.
Justin McInnis is back in the lineup after a two game absence. Before being injured, the receiver had a career game against the BC Lions on August 19 with 111 yards receiving. There will be three Canadians starting in the Riders receiving core with Kian Schaffer-Baker and Brayden Lenius also starting.
On the defensive side of the ball there aren’t too many changes. Miles Brown and Demarcus Christmas will start at defensive tackle. Canadian Charbel Dabire will be one of the reserve defensive lineman today. The green and white will dress seven defensive lineman this week after dressing eight defensive lineman in the first encounter with the Blue Bombers.
Today’s contest will be the second matchup of the three game season series between the two teams. They will meet for the third and final time on September 30.
