The R-C-M-P are warning people to be on the lookout for a suspect in incidents in the Cumberland House area, who they say is armed and dangerous.

Police say Kurt Bloomfield faces charges including assault, unlawful confinement, possession of a firearm while prohibited and taking a motor vehicle without consent.

Bloomfield is also wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for parole violation.

Police say Bloomfield has ties to Nipawin and Saskatoon, and a vehicle investigators believe may be associated with him was located yesterday in Birch Hills.

He is described as being approximately five-foot-eight and weighing 150 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes and the word “Bloomfield” tattooed across his chest
