Child on bike suffers significant injuries after being hit by vehicle

An 11-year-old boy on his bike suffered significant but non-life-threatening injures after a collision between a vehicle and the boy.
Police went to the 2800 block of Elgaard Drive just after 6:14 p.m..
The victim was riding his bike when he was struck. The man who was the driver remained at the scene until EMS arrived.
The cyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and the driver was going below the speed limit. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The collision is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Regina police.
