Beauval RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding 32 year old Lenora Durocher and 56 year old Dennis Burnouf. The two were last seen on Sunday October 2nd.

They were travelling to the Lac La Plonge dam to take a boat on the lake to go fishing and hunting.

RCMP say Dennis is a seasoned hunter who communicates about the planned duration of his trips and both of them had planned to return on Monday afternoon.

However, friends and family haven’t heard from either Dennis or Lenora since they left Sunday evening.

They were reported missing to police yesterday which is also when Dennis’s truck was found at the Lac La Plonge dam parked by the boat launch with an empty boat trailer hitched to the truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP. Interviews as well as ground and water searches have been underway. Local community members are helping with the search and the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association has been called in.
