The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced a couple of roster moves.

First, the signing of linebacker Alvin Jones Junior, who isn’t exactly a new face around the green and white’s locker room.

You may remember Jones signed with the Club in October of 2021 and was at the Riders 2022 Training Camp. He played in both of the 2022 preseason games, recording one tackle and one pass deflection.

After playing his college ball at the University of Texas El Paso, Jones Jr. turned pro with the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL in 2018.  He was signed as an undrafted fee agent and spent two years on the Raven’s practice roster, getting into some pre season games.

The Riders also announced defensive back Devin Jones has been released.
