Regina’s downtown area is hosting Touchdown Downtown this November

For the first time in CFL history, the Grey Cup game and festival will be happening at the REAL District and Mosaic Stadium.

Grey Cup festivities have previously been held in Regina’s downtown core, therefore the Regina Downtown Business Improvement District (RDBID) has decided to host Touchdown Downtown to ensure that downtown members and residents could still take part in the celebrations.

From November 17 to 19, Touchdown Downtown will take over Regina’s downtown area.

It’ll feature a variety of activities, including digital murals with Nuit Blanche, live music, an outdoor family dance, ice sculptures, horse and wagon rides, crafts for children, hot chocolate, movies, fire pits, and much more.

The event will start off with Regina Downtown’s Annual Tree Lighting to kick off the holiday season on November 16.

Touchdown Downtown will complement the REAL District and Mosaic Stadium activities as a pre and post-event to the Grey Cup Festival. This is to enhance celebrations as well as create an exciting and vibrant environment for Regina residents and for the many tourists staying in Regina for the events.

More information on the event can be found on their website.
