The latest Saskatchewan feeder cattle market report says prices were mixed during the past week.
Feeder steers ranged from 341 dollars 25 cents per hundredweight for 300 to 400 pounds to 223 dollars 75 cents for the over 900 pound weight category.
Feeder heifer prices ranged from 251 dollars 47 cents per hundredweight for the 300 to 400 pounds to 210 dollars 56 cents for the over 800 pound category.
Canfax reports 40 thousand 520 head were marketed the week ending October 21st, which is more than double the 17,446 head the previous week.
