Saskatchewan feeder cattle prices were mixed during the past week.

Jayce Fossen with the livestock branch at the ministry of Agriculture says prices were mixed but remained strong as more cattle were going to market.

Feeder steers ranged from 336 dollars 71 cents per hundredweight for 300 to 400 pounds to 232 dollars 50 cents for the 800 to 900 pound category.

Feeder heifers ranged from 257 dollars 3 cents for the 300 to 400 pound category to 210 dollars for the over 800 pound weight category.

Marketings were almost 43 thousand head for the week ending October 28th.
