On the strength of their PFC championship victory over the Saskatoon Hilltops on Sunday, a pair of Regina Thunder were recognized with a pair of PFC Player of the Week awards.

It was a second straight week big week for running back Ryland Leichert, as he was named offensive player of the week. He had 33 carries along with 190 yards and two touchdowns in the win for Regina.

Defensive back Adam King was named one of the PFC Defensive Players of the Week. King had an interception for the Thunder in the PFC Championship Final.

The Regina Thunder will host the Okanagan Sun in the Canadian Bowl on Saturday, November 12.
