A two-vehicle collision on Highway #16 near Churchbridge resulted in one person’s death.

RCMP said that an initial investigation determined a northbound and southbound vehicle collided.

The driver and lone occupant of the northbound vehicle, a 57-year-old man from Langenburg, was declared deceased by EMS at the scene.

The driver and lone occupant of the southbound vehicle were taken to the hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
