Unless a surprise recount vote is needed, five members of the University of Regina Rams were named to the Canada West Football team on Friday.

All of the selections came from the defensive side of the ball.

Defensive End, Anthony Bennett. defensive tackle Tanner Schmekel , linebacker Ryder Varga , halfback Jackson Sombach and safety Jaxon Ford were all named as all-stars.

The University of Saskatchewan Huskies led the way with ten players named as all-stars including quarterback Mason Nyhus.
