Pats host Broncos in a Saturday night tilt

 

After a few days off, the Regina Pats return to action on Saturday night when they entertain the Swift Current Broncos.

The last action for the Pats came on Sunday afternoon when they snapped a four-game losing streak with a 7-3 win over the Tri-Cities Americans. Connor Bedard matched a career high with five points.

So far in the season, the Pats captain leads the WHL in points (29) & assists (16) and is tied for first with goals (13).

On Friday Regina sent 19 year forward Cole Dubinsky to Prince George in exchange for Zackary Shantz and a 2023 third round draft pick. Dubinsky had spent parts of six seasons with the Pats.

Swift Current is 6-8 this season and were defeated by the Red Deer Rebels 4-1 last night.

This is the third matchup between the two teams with Regina picking up a pair of 4-3 wins so far this year.
