Struggles continue for Pats with loss to Broncos

 

The Regina Pats have now dropped five of their last six games after they were defeated by the Swift Current Broncos on Saturday night 5-2.

Swift Current opened up with a 3-0 lead after the opening 40 minutes before the two teams traded a pair of goals in the final period.

Alexander Suzdalev and Stanislav Svozil each a goal and an assist. Connor Bedard had a pair of assists.

Matthew Kieper took the loss as he made 20 saves.

On the powerplay the Pats were 2/8.

Next action for Regina is Wednesday, when they host the Edmonton Oil Kings at the Brandt Centre.
