Pats wrap up homestand against Oil Kings

 

The Regina Pats will finish off their five game homestand tonight when they host the Edmonton Oil Kings.

Over the last four games at the Brandt Centre, the Pats have stumbled to a 1-3 record, with their most recent outing against Swift Current on Saturday, where they suffered a 5-2 loss.

The trio of Connor Bedard, Alexander Suzdalev and Stanislav Svozil all had multi-point efforts in the loss to the Broncos.

Edmonton was in action last night in Moose Jaw, as the Warriors skated away with a 7-2 victory. Last season, the Oil Kings won the WHL championship, and went 1-1-1 at the Memorial Cup.

Following tonight’s game the Pats will play three games on the weekend in three different cities in Saskatchewan. On Friday, they will visit the Broncos in Swift Current. They will return home on Saturday for a matchup against the Red Deer Rebels. To wrap up  the weekend, the Pats will head north on Highway #11 and visit the Saskatoon Blades.

Sunday’s game in Saskatoon will kickoff ten consecutive games on the road for the Pats, their next home contest following Saturday is on Saturday, December 10.

Tonight’s game on 620 CKRM begins with the pregame show at 6:35, opening faceoff is 7:00.
