As the city pays tribute to the men and women who’ve laid down their lives and continue to fight in war, the city of Regina has provided a list of available operations in the city on November 11.
On Remembrance Day:
- Civic Offices are closed.
- The landfill is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- All garbage and recycling will be collected as usual.
- Regina transit services will be operating according to Sunday’s schedule. The Information Centre and RIDELine will be closed.
- The city’s paratransit service will be operating from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Offices for Riverside Memorial Park and Regina Cemeteries will be closed but the gates will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Northwest Leisure Centre will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Sportsplex, Fieldhouse, and Lawson Aquatic Centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Parking meters will not be in effect.
