The Saskatchewan Roughriders made a move to their backfield on Thursday.

Running back, Javian Hawkins signed with the green and white. He signed with the Atlanta Falcons after 2021 NFL Draft as an undrafted free agent, and spent time with the Falcons and Tennessee Titans during the preseason.

In the regular season, he would join the Los Angeles Rams practice squad and would go on to win a Super Bowl with the team.

Hawkins played three seasons at the University of Louisville (2018-20). He holds the school’s record for rushing yards in a single season.
