Pats begin lengthy road stretch with loss in Saskatoon

 

The Regina Pats ended their three game weekend going 1-1-1 after a 5-2 loss to the Saskatoon Blades on Sunday.

Connor Bedard and Alexander Suzdalev scored for Regina in the loss. Bedard also had an assist as he extended his point streak to 19 games.

Drew Sim took the loss as he made 22 saves for the Pats.

Regina outshot Saskatoon 34-27 and went 1/3 on the powerplay.

The Pats next nine games are on the road, they will travel to Winnipeg on Thursday, as they meet the ICE in a pair of games beginning on Thursday night.
