RCMP arrest man wanted for attempted murder

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after being the subject of a provide-wide warrant.

Theoren Pasqua of Fort Qu’Appelle was arrested on November 2 by RCMP after being subject to the warrant for months.

It was back on September 8 when Regina Police Service officers were dispatched to 7th Avenue and Pasqua Street for a report of a weapons offence involving a firearm.

Police located a 23-year-old female who alleged that a man (known to her) had pointed and fired a firearm at her.

A continued investigation into the offence resulted in a province-wide warrant for Pasqua.

Pasqua is charged with attempted murder and failure to comply with a probation order.

He made his court appearance early this month.
