The Regina Pats have acquired an overage forward from the Moose Jaw Warriors.
Riley Ginnell was acquired from the Pats’ Trans-Canada rival for a 2026 sixth round draft pick.
Ginnell has a goal and two assists in 16 games with the Warriros and the Wheat Kings.
He had set career highs last season with the Wheat Kings last season with 14 goals, 20 assists and 34 points in 62 games.
At 6’4″, 205, he was a seventh round pick by the Kamloops Blazers in 2017 and has 50 points in 127 career WHL games.
The Warriors had the extra overage player when they got Ryder Korczak back from the New York Rangers organization last week. The Warriors acquired Ginnell in October from Brandon for a fifth round pick in 2024.
