Farmers, rodeo competitors, and livestock from across Canada and the United States are traveling to Regina for the Canadian Western Agribition.
The REAL District is ready to open its doors for Agribition on Monday.
“It’s been an amazing turnover from Grey Cup to Agribition. Regina Exhibition teams and Agribition teams have been working steadily and we’re ready,” says Shawna Fuchs, Livestock and Rodeo Manager.
As of Friday, the arenas and sub-areas are ready to bring in the livestock.
Up to 2000 livestock heads such as bison, cattle, sheep, alpacas, and many more animals have arrived in the Real District this weekend ahead of opening day.
The gates to Agribition will fly open on Monday with the first events kicking off at 8 a.m. with over a hundred-thousand people expected to come to enjoy the exhibition through the week.
