Moose Jaw Police Service’s Victim’s Services adding new assistance dog

Who’s a good boy?
For people accessing Victims Services in Moose Jaw, the answer will be Sven, the new support dog
Sven has arrived from the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society in Burnaby, B.C., accredited in Judicial Field and passed his public access test. Sven will work alongside victims services co-ordinator Terri Roney and support those affected by crime and tragedy.

In a social media post, the Moose Jaw Police Service said that Sven brings another layer of trauma informed practice that the Moose Jaw Police Service strives to achieve.
