A 39 year old man is facing an attempted murder charge, after an incident in Regina last Thursday.

Police were called out with a report of  an injured man on the ground on Princess Street between 4th and 6th avenues.

A 35 year old man had what appeared to be stab wounds, and we was taken to hospital.

Police tracked a suspect to a home not far away.

Gregory Rynold Bellegard has been charged with attempted murder, and he made his first court appearance on that charge this morning.
