Team Canada kicked off their exhibition schedule with a 6-0 win over Switzerland.

Regina Pats captain Connor Bedard collected three assists in the victory.

Seattle Kraken’s Shane Wright led the scoring for Canada with a pair of goals and a assist.

Also scoring for Canada was  Joshua Roy, Nathan Gaucher, Olen Zellweger and Brennan Othmann.

Before the World Juniors begin on Boxing Day, Canada will have a pair of  exhibition games on Wednesday against Slovakia, and Friday they face off with Finland.

Canada will begin the World Junior Championships in Halifax against Czechia.
