Snow Plows Roll Out For City Wide Clear Tuesday

For the first time this “winter season” the city of Regina is rolling out its snow plows to clear every street in the city.  To this point the city was focused on clearing the major routes, and “snow routes.”

There are some 500 kilometres of road to clear in Regina, and it will take city crews up to 12 days, barring another major snowfall.  You can help, by knowing when the plows will be attacking the snow in your neighbourhood, and by making sure your car is off the street.  It gives the crews more room to work, and they can clear more of the snow off of the road.

You can check the city of Regina’s website for tools that show you the plow schedule, and you can sign up for alerts and notifications for when snow clearing, or street sweeping is happening in your neighbourhood.
