Ice cream sales are helping support recently rescued puppies find forever homes

There’s nothing better than puppies and ice cream and Dandy’s Ice Cream Shop has united with the CC REZQ Organization to help support 11 new puppies they’ve recently taken in.

The puppies were found abandoned in a basement outside of the city earlier this week.

Dandy’s has decided that all of the proceeds from ice cream sales will go toward the litter.

“We’re featuring an ice cream flavour and a pup every single day just to get out awareness of the organization of CC REZQ but also to help each pup possibly get their forever home,” says Daniela Mintenko with Dandy’s Ice Cream Shop.

The shop has offered flavors like operation dalmatian 101 and triple chocolate brownie.

Residents have also been bringing in donations.

“They’re doing cash donations, they’re doing bags of food, leashes, all kinds of things for the puppies so that’s amazing,” says Mintenko

People are welcome to bring in more donations or purchase a featured ice cream cone to help support the puppies.

Dandy’s Ice Cream Shop is located at 4570 Albert Street.
